Improvements and bug fixes

  • Copying an RMD cell whose text contains a tab character now pastes it into the one selected cell instead of spreading it across two cells (IMP-2907)
  • A cell of the "Formula" column in the RMD now uses the same width in edit mode as it does the rest of the time (IMP-2966)
  • Filling the second-to-last column of the RMD by dragging the fill handle no longer scrolls the table to bring the last column fully into view — the table stays where it was (IMP-3063)
  • The general RMD change history now opens filtered by the RMD tab it was opened from, instead of with no filters at all (IMP-2990)
  • Opening the change history of a single cell or a single element is noticeably faster on large projects, because it no longer reads the whole version's history (IMP-2981)
  • The RMD spreadsheet received a batch of small optimizations: it does less work while cells are edited and while the table is scrolled, with no change to how the grid behaves (IMP-3097)
  • RMD rows are now loaded in a single request instead of page by page, so reaching the end of a large table is immediate and working with the full table no longer causes the problems that paginated loading produced (IMP-3144)
  • The warning in the header of a fact table now appears and disappears immediately, as it does everywhere else, instead of only after the page is refreshed (IMP-2752)
  • The "Save changes" button of a fact table no longer becomes active again when nothing has been changed (IMP-2753)
  • Verification filters for measures can again be copied from a fact table and from the data model (IMP-3115)
  • The name and the description of a fact table are now validated when the fact table is updated, by the same rules that apply when it is created: an over-long value is rejected with a clear message instead of failing (IMP-3118)
  • A dimension or a fact added to a data mart no longer disappears once its filter has been configured without saving — it stays in the data mart (IMP-3126)
  • Data mart filters for facts and dimensions are now shown in the right place and immediately after they are created, and filters on dimensions from dimension groups are kept when one of the data mart's fact tables is removed (IMP-3128)
  • The "Show field in data mart" setting no longer keeps its previous value when a dimension or a fact is removed from the data mart and added to it again (IMP-3129)
  • A data mart built on two fact tables that share the same dimension groups now runs when it contains period measures, such as the value at the beginning or at the end of a period (IMP-3197)
  • The combined RMD request of the public API now returns all dimension groups, fact tables and relationships instead of only the first twenty — both in the JSON response and in the Excel export, and in both versions of the API (IMP-3109)
  • The SQL generation response of the public API now reports the Microsoft SQL Server target database type under its correct name (IMP-3113)
  • Renaming a project version through the API now applies the same name rules as creating one — length, allowed characters and uniqueness within the project — instead of accepting any value (IMP-3110)
  • The API now accepts the same project and version names as the interface: a name with an underscore is no longer rejected (IMP-3111)
  • Write operations across the product are now checked against the user's role on the server side as well, so a project viewer can no longer change RMD data, manage dimension groups or materialize data marts by sending requests directly; two requests that previously required no authentication now require it (IMP-3125)
  • The IP address of a user is detected correctly in the audit log again, and the company IP whitelist and blacklist work as expected (IMP-3112)
  • The license shown for a company in the "Companies" list now matches the license shown inside that company (IMP-2992)
  • The license records of a company are now removed together with the company, so licenses no longer accumulate and an old one can no longer become the active one and leave quotas unapplied (IMP-3127)
  • Starting the containers of an on-premises installation no longer prints a warning about an obsolete configuration attribute (IMP-2871)
  • A long name of a global version is now displayed correctly in the application header (IMP-3138)
  • The placeholders of the login and password fields on the sign-in page are no longer drawn over credentials saved by the browser after the page is refreshed (IMP-3141)
  • Corrected the width of the file field in the "Import project version" dialog and the alignment of the controls on the IP whitelist and blacklist pages (IMP-3139)
